Honestly, I had no idea there was a National Peppermint Bark Day! But I’m so excited that there is! It will be on my calendar every December 1st from now on.

Trader Joe’s Peppermint Bark

Every year, I get a tin of Peppermint Bark from Trader Joe’s to have around for the holidays. Fortunately I grabbed one last week, so I have some to celebrate with today! Sometimes I get a second tin and put it in my husband’s stocking, so we have enough to get us through the new year.

During the holidays there is no better flavor combination than chocolate and peppermint!

I probably should try making some at home. But while they have it in stock at Trader Joe’s, I’m stocking up! When it’s no longer in stock (usually in early December), or if you don’t have a Trader Joe’s near you, you can get it here.

Celebrate Peppermint Bark Day with some treats from Trader Joe’s

Trader Joe’s actually has a number of great holiday treats that use the pairing of sweetness with peppermint. Give some of these a try!

Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Covered Peppermint Cremes. These are basically peppermint patties, but even better because they have a peppermint bit topping!

Trader Joe’s Peppermint Pretzel Slims. These thin pretzel crisps are covered in a creamy coating and peppermint bits.

Trader Joe’s Mini Peppermint Meringues. These little mini meringues are covered in bit of peppermint and truly melt in your mouth!

Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Covered Peppermint Joe Joe’s. These wonderful cookies are covered in dark chocolate, and peppermint bits are added inside and out!
